Ocala, Florida, September 25, 2007 Elster AMCO Water Presents, ‘AMI for the Water Industry’ Innovation Showcase October 2nd at Autovation 2007 in Reno, Nevada

Elster AMCO Water, Inc., part of the Elster Group, the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of highly accurate, high quality, integrated metering and utilization solutions, will be presenting, ‘AMI for the Water Industry,’ at the Innovation Showcase on October 2nd at Autovation 2007, the AMRA International Symposium in Reno, Nevada. There will also be a press conference on October 2nd at 4:00 pm where Roman Thomassin, newly appointed president of Elster AMCO Water and regional director for the Elster Group’s water business in North America, will discuss Elster AMCO Water’s recently launched “evolution™” AMR/AMI system and how it seeks to revolutionize the water utility industry.

Mr. Thomassin, who also serves on the Elster Group’s executive management team, will discuss how Elster AMCO Water has become a provider of world class AMR/AMI system solutions that meet the demands of a rapidly expanding water industry in North America by providing tailored solutions through innovative, technologically advanced products and services beyond meters alone.

In meeting the challenges of the rapidly expanding water industry, Elster AMCO Water recently launched its “evolution™” AMR/AMI system, which was developed in response to customer demands for a comprehensive advanced metering solution for the water industry, that will protect the utilities’ investment in infrastructure by providing a migrate-able solution from mobile AMR systems to a true fixed network AMI systems. At the Innovative Showcase, Elster AMCO Water will go into more depth about its “evolution™” AMR/AMI system for the water industry.

“Our presentation at the AMRA showcase in Reno is an opportunity for attendees and press to meet with representatives of Elster AMCO Water and learn about our products and solutions, especially “evolution™” AMR/AMI, the first total system solution for water utilities,” explained Mr.Thomassin.

Bruce Bharat, product marketing manager for AMR/AMI at Elster AMCO Water, will present at the Innovative Showcase on the multiple benefits and enhancements provided by the “evolution™” system including timebased rates, in-home consumption monitoring, remote valve actuation, on-demand consumption readings, and real-time leak notification.

Mr. Bharat has stated that “evolution™ is a complete AMR/AMI system that will serve as the cornerstone for any water utility that not only seeks the traditional benefits of AMR, but also seeks true utility-wide conservation efforts, unparalleled customer service, revenue protection and enhancement through overall system efficiency.”

At the Innovative Showcase, Elster AMCO Water intends to have a live demonstration of the “evolution™” system at its booth (#160) to provide utility representatives and press with a first hand experience of this new, groundbreaking technology for the water utility industry.
