Ocala, Florida, February 27, 2008 Elster AMCO Water Announces Management Appointment

Elster AMCO Water, Inc., part of Elster Group, a world leader in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and integrated metering and utilization solutions to the gas, electricity and water industries today announces the appointment of Jamie Allan as vice president of sales and field operations for the North American sales division of Elster AMCO Water.

“Jamie will be a key driver in strengthening Elster AMCO Water’s position as a leading provider of water utility metering solutions through the delivery of our solution-based services to our clients in North America,” explained Roman Thomassin, president of Elster AMCO Water. “He is an accomplished sales executive with more than 28 years in sales, manufacturing, and quality within the water metering industry which he will leverage to lead the continued growth of our business.”

Jamie joined Elster in 1980 and has held positions in sales management and manufacturing/operations, globally and domestically. He began his career with Elster in Luton, England, quickly advancing to management positions in the UK before transferring to Elster AMCO Water’s Puerto Rico facility and then its Ocala headquarters in 1999. Allan holds CMS, DMS & IQA qualifications from the University of Luton and has served many terms with ASQ, including serving as local chair.
